COMMERCE Farmers Market moves to Commerce on the Square!

This past Saturday, June 2, 2018, marks the first Saturday for the Commerce Farmers Market to be held ONE THE SQUARE in downtown Commerce. Local long time vendors for the Commerce area enjoyed the crowds taking advantage of great weather, a soft breeze, cool shade tree & canopied market spaces convenient to a revitalizing of the downtown Commerce merchants.

Buyers and seller, alike, found this welcome change of venue, a terrific Saturday experience. Vendors enjoyed sold out products and buyers enjoyed an abundance of variety and shopping fun!

Found Penny Farm is a small, working farmstead. Providing items available during the week, all year round, that would normally only be available in the Summer months when the Farmers Market is open.

Everyone knows that vegetables are seasonal … but some items, like Found Penny Farm’s baked goods, canned items, and hand-crafted items are available all year round!

This online market is to give farmers, growers, craftsmen, bakers, artisans a way to provide the Greenville Farmers Market customers access to items which are available all year round.

During the 2018 regular Market season, April 21, 2018 through September, the Greenville Farmers Market is open Saturdays from 8:00am til 12:00noon.

YUP! I'm still working out the "bugs"

In case you’re wondering, yes!

If you are a Grower, then yes, I did! Not only did I hit the “Send Harvest emails” button by mistake, to go out once, I clicked it again just for good measure! /sigh

Sorry! Of course for some of our Growers, it was a little advance notice that you DO have orders … but, honestly, it really was a mistake, sorry!

Growers: IF you really want to keep on top of things, you can come to the site, go to “Your Account” tab and on your “Grower” page (if you are a grower) scroll down to about the 5th link listed there it says:
“See your open orders and print labels”

Click on that and it will show you any orders you have for the next delivery day (Wednesday or Saturday) … that page will show the order as soon as a buyer places it (Clicking on the “Pay Later” button places the order and you pay later when you pick your order up).

By checking in on your Account page once or twice before the Market closes can give you a little advance time to get your orders working. Once the Market closes (noon the day before you drop off/deliver your ordered items ) I also send out a general Harvest email. You will receive this email regardless of whether or not you have any orders.

Anyway, I’m sorry for all the Harvest emails sent, it was my mistake … I think my clicker finger may have Harvest email turrets! But it’s ALL better now. :D

I’m learning! :) Hang in there with me and we’ll grow and have fun!
